I think the graphics from AoA is better

There should be 3 options for graphics, Classic, Reforged, and these fan-made HD models from SC2… I think I would prefer these for ladder play

Wait! I always thought models from firts 2 videos were made by Blizzard tgemselves for SC2 editor. I mean they looks so close to the original (some things are a bit different like dreadlord’s face for exmple or demonhunter’s blades) but at the same time they are in high defenition and look good when you scroll down to see thme closely. When I saw them for the first time I thought this was somekind of a remaster teaser. And this style I would prefer in Reforged.

Ye its too much cartoony , blizz clearly said they went physical rendering and its something new and unique for them (not as someone people say its a lot cheaper and its cause of outsource studio, that is simply not true).

I prefer Crysis alike or The Witcher III graphics for RTS.

If you dont like Reforged, you can always play classic wc3 .

Imo those look pretty horrible. I think the Reforged models even now looks better and they are still improving them. Those look like they were made of clay and the colors just make me cringe. :grimacing:

The first two videos are done with Official WC3 assets ported by Blizzard on SC2 to can be used on the arcade and Custom Campaign, WAA instead are mostly said assets or WoW models modified to fit into sc2 and be similar to wc3, let me just say that WoW models looks abhorrent on sc2 engine

The ones Blizzard made for Starcraft 2 are really true to the original. But in this case, I do not think it would be for the better. When you are zoomed out, would you even notice it anymore?

SC:R sort of had this problem for me. In the beginning I thought it looked great (and it does) but as time went on, I didn’t even notice it… The game was the same as always, just looking better.

I really wish that Blizzard tries to push the boundaries with the graphics in this reforge. Not just update the models so they have a few more polygons, but really try to make the game as beautiful as possible.
