I think HOTS is the standard they would be abiding to in terms of how much skin to show.
Showing midriffs, cleavage and thigh gaps are all fine. I was only pointing out how the midriff on the Huntress was too extreme for that standard.

I’m the artist who made this piece and can confirm, it’s just fan art - I don’t work for Blizzard.
I based the rider design on the WC:III Alpha version of the Sentinel (which was scrapped, remade into the Huntress and later repurposed as the Sentry unit in RoC).

Waiting til someone caught on.
But no lie felt kind of reforged except that it was revealing.
For those who think it’s too revealing… You clearly haven’t seen the ‘armour’ worn by nightelves at the Battle of Darkshore in the WoW patch for that battleground. Because that is less than a year ago and even more revealing than the original Warcraft 3 Archer.
Very much modelled after the ‘barely lingerie’ the night elf in the classic intro WoW cinematic wore.

Man, I really hope that the Archers end up looking like that.
It’d be awesome nostalgia stuff even for WoW players which they clearly want to pander to as well since a lot of the new models have WoW designs.
It’s the design from the original WoW trailer, it looks sweet.
It has the same feel as the original Archer back in WC3 as well, it’d be a win win.

They censored her in Hearthstone.
The skin and armor are way too shiny for what we’ve seen of Reforged.
