Except for which hotkey that should be used for buildings and units. Even though there is nothing actually wrong with that suggestion and I basically have the same preference, it may not work for you.
But everything else is pretty much spot on.
Especially the most important ones; which are to avoid creeping without a hero, practice often, and work on your micro.
