This is the reason why WC3 is dying. The matchmaking on Bnet, especially in 1 Vs 1 is abysmal. I will win 10 easy games in a row, and then get destroyed in the next 10. The matchmaking system will match me against 10 players way worst than me, then straight after that Vs 10 players way better than me. The games are either too easy or too hard, and it is not fun at all. There is no GRADUAL increase in the difficulty of opponents. After being matched Vs 10 players significantly worse than you that give you no challenge, the matchmaking immediatelly increases the MMR of your opponents by like 1,000 points or something ridiculous like that and you can’t win a single game. Playing Vs people way worse than you and way better than you are BOTH not fun to play! Playing Vs way worse oppoents is not fun because it is not a challenge, and playing Vs people way better is also not fun because you can’t do anything agains them and you just get spanked from beggining to end. Not to mention the pros with smurf accounts that just demolish you. I have been matched Vs Hitman(pro player), Sonic(pro player), SoK(pro player) and Susiria(former prom player) when my MMR in 1 Vs 1 was just around 4,200 or so and they are like 6.500+ MMR. I know that it is them because their accounts are linked to WC3 Champions ladder and I have WC3 booster. The Bnet ladder is an absolutely horrible experience. Played 12 games of 1 Vs 1 this night and lost 9. The “weakest” opponent in the games I lost was 180 MMR higher than me. This is not fun AT ALL. Makes you want to never touch this game ever again.

Sounds more like a skill issue than a matchmaking issue.
Unless you can show that the game is 100% consistently giving you.
There is nothing wrong with this statistic of yours, aside from the fact that 20 games is a tiny sample size and not indicative of anything.
You’re also implying that the game is designed to do this but that’s definitely not the case. But it isn’t even unusual for that to be a thing, many games, especially MOBAs, will eventually spike the matchmaking up a bit if you’re on a win streak as a check to see if you actually deserve to be at that higher rank. But given the other, more real issues with WC3’s matching (all of which are associated with team games and not 1vs1) it’s obvious that their system isn’t that elaborate.
Also a smart player doesn’t keep playing on a losing streak Did you ever consider you were burning out and stopped performing to your usual standard? it happens all the time in competitive multiplayer games. In such situations its best to take a break. Your inferrence is nonsense and it’s a complete fluke if you were the weaker of the two players for 10 games.
And before you say it, you can absolutely flip a coin the same way 10 times in a row . It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen.
Play 1000 games and give us a decent data sample size and then come back.
