HEY F10 to access menu and leave game

ITS BEEN 25 YEARS I STILL CANNOT CHANGE THAT KEY BIND WHY NO BODY KNOW F10 TO TO ACCESS THE NORMAL ESC MENU. Only in sc1, and it was bad there. I mean keybind to change action bar where active for 15 years and less than 0.0001 % use them GOOD STUFF

imagine in the patch note : you can now press escape to access the game menu like EVERY WERE ELSE. I guess I should not get my hope up

escape is used to cancel buildings you doofus.

All Blizzard RTS games, Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, and Halo Wars all use the F10 menu… F10 menu has been a thing since the original WarCraft.

There are certainly other games using it that I am unaware of.

There are two very good reasons to use F10 menus:

  1. It frees up the escape key as a cancel button.
  2. The player is very unlikely to hit it by accident.

So now what are you using as your cancel button hotkey?

RTS games use F10 for a reason you know.
