Hellscream hostile(Chapter 3 Orc Campaign)

Chapter three of the orc campaign, i was helping Hellscream destroy a human base when suddenly him and his troops started atacking me. I’m not sure why he did that since i didnt atack him at all but my guess is the splash damage from the siege weapons made him hostile but im pretty sure thats not suppose to happen.

Thats actually normal, it was always like that.
In that mission if you attack or do any sort of dmg to groms forces then he will become hostile

I didn’t know that, i don’t think it should be this way but since u said it has always been and they still didn’t change it i might as well accept it.

In my experience, it used to take more than just a single attack against him - I once started attacking his base to confirm that he would rebuild lost buildings back before Reforged released, and it wasn’t until I’d done a fair bit of damage that he turned against me.

But yes, he will turn against you if you attack him and his forces too much. But then, who’s turning against whom?

If things were working like u said, it should be fine. In my opinion Hellscream and Thrall were still working together despite Grom disobeying Thrall’s orders in that chapter, so at that point it should require more than a splash friendly fire to turn him against Thrall. Bc of this i have to conquer human bases solo and ignore Hellscream which is fine but it would be nicer to help my lad Grom in that chapter, I strongly believe that’s the way it was meant to be.

I do agree that its weird a bit of splash dmg turns grom against you
According to the wowpedia the early idea for that chapter was to have the choice of you stopping grom from killing the humans which would give benefits in the future chapters
