Hello. I have a problem with the game freezing (including mouse) every few seconds. It’s just like every 15 seconds I got freeze for 2 seconds. It’s unplayable because it starts at the beggining (even when I didn’t built anything yet) and the freezing problem doesn’t increase at late game. It’s always the same. Game is running very good even when I play 4v4 except these freezes so it might not be the low PC specs problem. Game is working on max settings without problems (except freezing) and on lowest setting it works exactly the same. It doesn’t even matter when I move camera or do anything. I can just watch the game being idle and this still happens. I don’t have these problems in any other games I play including RTS games like Starcraft series or a bit more graphic demanding games. Anyone had the same problem? What can I do?
sounds exactly like my issue… i have the same except its not for 1-2 seconds but always only for 1 second…
but otherwise its identical to your problem. happens like every 15-30 seconds for me.
my system is a
ryzen 2600x
16gb 3200mhz cl14 ram
gtx 980ti
game is installed on an nvme ssd the samsung 960 evo.
moving the game to my hdd increases the freeze and makes it freeze a bit longer, maybe 2 seconds like for you.
happens everywhere, in custom games and in campaign as long as the reforged mode is enabled. on classic mode it doesn’t happen…
in another thread some ppl said it might be the cache flushing which seems to happen constantly… might be the reason, not sure though as those ppl had massive stuttering all the time lol
I can confirm that. I just tried campaign - quickly finished 3 missions for orc prologue to check the game stability and same thing happens, so this literally happens in all possible game modes. I think there were no freezes in the first map of the campaign but there were not much units at all but… There were no workers too so maybe workers are the issue? When playing skirmish or multiplayer the game have freezes even when there are just workers on the map.
uhm… after your reply i’m 100% sure we have the same issue. why ? because it was identical for me. the only situation those freezes aren’t happening was in the first prologue campaign mission for me aswell.
this one mission was buttersmooth at 16.6ms without any derivations from this. it also started happening to me in the second mission and as said it happens in all other modes too
