Extremely low FPS on menus

the problem was never in our computers

incorrect. my pcs have no issues. my hardware is i7 cpus with gt 630, gtx 650 ti boost and 2080 ti. it could be that it requires an i7 or i9 to work well, though that is speculation.

Brand new Macbook pro M1 Pro chip. In game is perfect, but the menu… gosh… it is incredible slow

naturally, the game was never built for that hardware to begin with.

Any solutions ? I’m using RTX 3060 and on 1920x1080 menu is just fine, But when I use 3440x1440 the menu gets about 20fps (i7 11370H)

Come on guys… we have paid for this !

Please solve the bug!

There are posts above that should fix the problem. I have a 1080 and my menu has always been crap since Reforged. I just put up with it. Disabling intel HD graphics in my display adapters in the device manager instantly fixed it for me as it probably forces the crap menu to use my GPU:

This is not the solution, I use dual monitors and when I disable Intel Graphics, I lose display on my second monitor

that suggests that your second monitor is running on your intel gpu. most graphics cards these days support 4 monitors. even my old gtx 650 ti boost does(2 dvi, 1 displayport and 1 hdmi). most monitors these days supports hdmi and displayport.

It’s just unbelievable that this still is not fixed (almost 2022 now), I have a 2K monitor and no Intel or Integrated video in my PC and the menu is at 3fps no matter the resolution!

could be related to windows 10. my windows 7 laptop have no issues.

How was this not fixed yet? It’s been almost two years now since this bug was posted.
I am running MacOS and the menu FPS is horrible.

the answer is simple: the game have been abandoned and its development team desolved.

SOLUTION

I’ve posted this elsewhere, but it seems to go un-noticed:

For anyone experiencing a choppy title screen but smooth gameplay - In my case disabling the CITRIX Indirect Display Adapter in the device manager resolved it.

Hello, the issue is still happening. Disabling integrated graphics card is NOT a solution as there should really be NO actions we as players must take before when running the game, so NO, it’s not an acceptable solution.

no developers means no fixes. i have no issues on any of my pcs however. my pcs all have i7 cpus, maybe that is required to get it working properly. they also have at least 16 gigabytes of ram and at least 2 gigabytes of vram.

It’s absolutely wild that two years later such a simple thing that has a rather large impact on some people hasn’t been fixed.

SC2 doesn’t have this problem, D3 doesn’t have this problem, it should be incredibly simple to work out what is wrong here and fix it.

Disabling integrated graphics is not an option for laptop users, it’s obnoxious to do, chews battery, and for some laptops it’s part of the rendering path as only the integrated is physically connected via a display port.

It’s also ridiculously difficult to do in a way that doesn’t break things on Wine for anyone playing on Linux. I can play SC2 and D3 perfectly fine, but not some classiv wc3?

Seriously, it’s utterly appalling that this isn’t addressed.

starcraft 2 is no longer a thing but used to have low menu FPS. diablo 3 does have low FPS on the menu. warcraft 3 is therefore not alone.

No, I play them both on the same laptop, wc3r has a completely unusable 2-3 fps. It’s so bad that pressing escape to access the menu means waiting upwards of 5 seconds to watch it animate one frame half on the screen, then the next frame it animates the menu is in the middle. It’s so bad the entire menu animation gets only 2 frames displayed.

The others certainly don’t have good performance on the menus, but they’re usable, they do not have the same problem.

i have better framerate on the warcraft 3 reforged menu than i ever had on the diablo 3 and starcraft 2 menus.
