lol from what I saw in the trailer it is only about OW, D3, WoW, Hearthstone maybe im missing something but didnt see even SC2 let alone war3.
Maybe for war3 there will be a cameo appearance of Pete Still well wearing a clown suit to give you a one liner patch - we improved another hero’s nose from Jan 2020 to Jan 2021

As noted earlier. Blizzard basically fired the WC3R team and put together a new Classic Games team from scratch. but it’s going to be a while before anything happens, they have to look through all the crap the old team made and figure out how to fix it and make better crap.
On top of that they had begun working on diablo II in order to transition that to the new battle.net as well, so they’re going too be on two projects.
We can only hope that in the long run this means less stupid FUBARs and more sensical work. Like prioritizing the things players actually want instead of investing all your time fixing incorrect footprints.

…what? I don’t think you could actually post anything further from the truth.
The team was dissolved, moving to other teams, fired or they left to find other companies to work for, then another studio was brought in that has previously worked on other remasters for Activision, of around 200 people, to take over. Of how many are working on Diablo, WC3R etc we don’t know.
Idk why you’d say Blizzard fired them because in truth it’s Activision gaining even more power since Blizzard people are leaving and being replaced by an Activision team.
Blizzard basically is activision at this point, the battle.net app now hosts activision games on PC. So when I say Blizzard, you know what I really mean.
And when I say the team was fired, that doesn’t necessairly mean all individual people involved lost jobs. Just the team no longer exists. Dissolved, fired, broken up, destroyed, choose your favorite word and don’t play sematics with me.

Man I love this forum, it’s Activision when it suits us, it’s Blizzard when it suits us, they’re the same thing, they’re not the same thing.
I’ll play as many semantic games as I want with you. Blizzard dissolving a team and Activision bringing in another team another company they own is NOT the same as Blizzard “firing” their team and then building one from scratch.

That’s because Blizzard doesn’t exist as an independent entity anymore like they did under Vivendi where they were given free reign to do their own thing because it was working.
Activision is calling the shots and Blizzard, as an entity, is a puppet controlled by the puppeteer Bobby Kotick.

I follow the theory that Blizzard is collapsing on its own and Activision is trying to save it.

As someone whos been playing Wc3 since 2002 and is still a very active spectator (watching each and every tournament) I can say I’ve never seen the game in such a bad shape.
Besides reforge and the way the RTS team got up and left (topics which have been discussed enough and I don’t see the need to add one word), I can firmly say the balance of the game and never looked worse.
Orc is incredibly weak. BM got over-nerfed generally not being part of the meta anymore and the orc army/other heroes are doing no damage.
As a simple spectator (which used to be an undead player anyway) it’s just painful to see orcs trying to fight… well, anything, when their army and heroes deal no damage. They got control (Stomp) and sustain (Healing wave) but no damage. And of all casters in the game, the orc casters (orc being the only race in the game that has no mana regen for it’s casters) virtually always fail to do their task because they just can’t sustain their normal, logical, mana conspution.
This is just an example.
Honestly, I just wish blizzard never came back to the game and left it in the pre-refoged-balance, state.
That’s the dumbest theory I’ve ever heard. Blizzard was doing great until the day activision aquired them and things went down the toilet almost immediately after.
