Cannot Play Older Dota Map Versions

Couldn’t load some of the older Dota map versions from IceFrog (starting from 6.37 through 6.50) for it to play under the classic mode of Reforged online client activated through my legacy ROC CD key.

The error message returned each time any of the older map version is loaded is “the map is not available or corrupt” but the more current map version such as (6.84) does not have this issue.

It’s highly unlikely for the older maps to be damaged or corrupt if the offline ROC+TOC legacy client can load it while the reforged online client (classic mode) cannot do so.

Grateful for any advice or suggestion to work this out. Thanks in advance.

depending on what version the map was originally made for, this would make sense, as older maps often used a code exploit known as the “return bug” which was made no longer valid as of path 1.24(I think?)
