Cannot Log into WC3 when clicking "Play"

As the title says whenever I click “Play” the screen goes blank like it usually does, then it flickers and minimizes itself. I click the Warcraft 3 icon and it does it again. I have to force quit to get anywhere.

There are times though where I do get to the “gate” with the lions head that has the blue eyes. But whenever I hit my windows button, or change the screen to look up something the problem starts again. When I click the warcraft icon… black screen flicker, minimize.

What is going on?? How do I fix this. Any help would be appreciated. I waited for an update thinking everyone was having this problem. Thank you.

Disable your windows key. Always a good idea when playing any games.

If you can get to the options screen set it to borderless window instead of fullscreen, that may solve the problem.
