And if any admin watching this thread, can you id*ots fix the filter on game search bar to also filter by map name not just the lobby name the host has given, like it was before ! ??

this didn’t work for me

I had the same problem. Changeing the background from TFT to Reforged worked for me. By clicking on the WC3 logo.

this also did not work for me

I’m on windows 11 pc

also tried scan and repair but that did not fix the issue either.

gonna try reinstalling the whole game

Same. Tried deleting folder and changing background, didn’t work. Locked out of multiplayer

full clean reinstall did not fix the issue. I think it’s something on their end…

Same, worked for me all year long until this very hour.
Since 2.0 I could play anything no problem, be it versus, custom games, campaign, or cgs in single player.
Now After pressing the Multiplayer button - same as topic - the menu will be stuck basically, the chains at the edges are still there and the leave button and collection symbol. The collection can also not be pressed. And leave will straight out quit wc3, so you are completely stuck after perssing multiplayer

System:

  • Windows 10
  • Wc3 worked so far no problem. (just 30 minutes prior on both EU, US, only came after restarting wc3)

When:

  • I had played Versus just 30 minutes before this and watched a replay. When restarting wc3 due to a pause, it didn’t work anymore as described.
  • In other words my download folder didn’t even change, I have not downloaded a map today.

Workarounds tried:

  • restart wc3
  • restart pc
  • restart + wait 10 minutes
  • delete download folder
  • “Scan and Repair” in battle.net app

Btw I noticed earlier this day:

  • At some point I couldn’t type “TD” into the custom games list, only “T” worked, it would simply move the cursor instead (not clear what it did)
  • Skins stopped showing during a match, noticably Thrall and Malfurion, in Classic Graphic. Even in the replay afterwards it didn’t show the skin unfortunately. However this usually all worked, after restarting it would work. So it seemed like a server problem. I believe it’s due to micro disconnects from server which then permanently seem to prevent the skins from showing until a restart (similar to how “offline mode” could occur in the background even while playing a game and not getting disconnected and then it would persist until restart). Please make skins work even when you disconnected, it should just load your “online arsenal” at the start.

PS: I noticed furthermore now:

  • You can access collection before pressing Multiplayer, but you can not click it after you have pressed Multiplayer

The servers are dead, u can blindly press M and U after and will go into the lobby list but nothing ever loading, worked on America server for couple of hours now nothing works , neither EU or America.

It worked for me like 30 minutes ago, EU and US. The bug occured for me only recently, FYI.

So perhaps it only comes for ppl that freshly logged into battle net again or rather retrieved the warcraft 3 data when starting the game, not sure - as I said I just did a small pause and it worked all time long, and when restarting wc3 ONLY THEN the bug occured. Actually IIRC I was online in battle net permanently, so just warcraft 3 was new.

(btw deleting Download folder does not fix it neither)

EU server seems to work now, just tried it . … .

…and its laggy as hell…playing on amerika as middle european player has way better latency than on the server, i am supposed to join.
