Please Blizzard do something about it, the guy have 2 boneyard at min 9. I scout and see it and go immediately to punish it. had 2 riders 2 kodo 2 windriders 2 batriders BM 3 SH 2. the Guy only have DL 4, 5 ghouls and 1spirit 1nerumbian tower. impossible to break through to kill the boneyards comme on at min 9 he just clic frostwirm how the hell are we supposed to break the unbeatable UD base before min 9 with SUUUUPEER SLOW AND x4 regen that’s ridiculous.
Impossible? Yeah no. In order to do that they can’t build much in the way of units at all until they get them and even then it’s another minute plus before they actually have them. If you predict that someone’s going to do it, stopping it is easy.
They usually put them at the back and I can tell that with all my t2 army 50pop focussing one boneyard, the 5 workers are enough to keep it alive. Its always easy with you but you look to have more time on the forum than in game
It’s why you switch to the workers immediately when they get sent, which tanks their economy.
Its wall off
well you’ve just got an answer for everything dont you. Not every player will build exactly the same in the same place on the same map in the same starting position. Use siege, cooperate with allies, etc. Just assume that any undead player is going to do that and aim for them from the start. The more you pressure them the longer it will take them to tech, or allies will have to give up resources to keep them in the game.
Ok, I only play 1v1 but thanks for trying to help. UD usually need Sacrificial Pit before they can produce frostwirms and when they have them it’s just stupidly strong. As orc the only AA we have are wick. DL Carrion swarm do huge zone damage. So HH ? Get destroyed, wind riders same…. When UD get frostwirms it’s Game over only BM can try to do something against it. 10 min to rush the best unit in game is absurd. And everybody knows that UD base is a dead zone, even more before min 9 with a weak army.
As I said before, in 4vs4, rush frost is broken.
Since you have 3x clowns in team, you cant win, especially if you’re playing ud.
Many Undead noobs on Bnet are now using a two-graveyard opening, leveling up their Town Hall first, then expanding. This strategy lacks early-game pressure, barely enough to reach T3 with 3bb Frost Wyrms. In contrast, expanding first and reaching Town Hall 29 population would give you almost 100 seconds earlier.
Orcs are actually pretty okay against this. Just expand and mass Batriders. Even though trading Batriders for 3 armor Frost Wyrms is inefficient, you can make up for it by taking out his buildings like Ziggurats, and Spirit Towers.
teching frost wyrms in 1v1? what? I’m sorry but frost wyrms shouldn’t even enter the game in a 1v1 match. Most games should end way before that.
Wtf u talking about bro I play every day 1v1 its about 10 to 15 min
Frankly if an opponent gets to frost wyrms or gryphons or chimeras in 1vs1 you’re doing it wrong (unless you have the equivalent units yourself, which would indicate a very good matchup).
If there’s any meaningful skill disparity between the two players then the stronger player should be winning before T3 is even achieved.
If a UD player is techiing to wyrms in 1v1 they don’t have the benefit of the boosted start they often are given in team games so sacrifices h ave to be made in terms of an attacking or creeping force. You should have more units than them in the early game and be able to win early game if they are teching at maximum speed.
they also usually need sacrificial pit before…
You can deal with Frost Wyrms in several ways. Raiders can Ensnare them so your ground army can focus them down.
Batriders can trade efficiently with Unstable Concoction.
HH are also strong anti-air, especially with proper support from Shamans, and the SH Hex and Healing Wave help a lot in those fights.
More importantly, you generally shouldn’t let an Undead player (or any oppoent) tech uninterrupted for 15 minutes without pressure, scouting, or fights.
- First of all, he said he’s playing 1v1, not 4v4.
- Second, he’s not the Undead player — he’s playing against Undead.
- Please stop calling people “clowns” every time you disagree with them. It doesn’t help the discussion, and many of us are tired of the insults and bullying behavior that keep showing up in these threads.
If you’re going to respond, at least address what the OP actually wrote
You really need to work on your reading comprehension.
- Not everyone needs to read every single post before replying. I was only responding to the original post on page 1. Under normal circumstances, in a 1v1 match, Frost is not a problem at all, so I naturally assumed he was playing 4v4. Captain’s reply made the same assumption—he was actually surprised that Krosium was playing 1v1.
- If you have at least an elementary-school level of reading comprehension, you should be able to understand that when I said “clown,” I was not referring to the Krosium or someone else here.
- I already gave Krosium the answer he was looking for: expand, and mass Bats to destroy buildings.
who you’re calling a “clown” is not really important, you shoudn’t really be doing that in the first place.
“By ‘clown team,’ I’m simply describing my Bnet teammates’ behavior objectively. It’s not meant as an insult, so please don’t take it personally. You can understand it as something like ‘a useless team,’ ‘a team acting ridiculously,’ 'an actor team,'or ‘a team that has no idea what they’re doing.’”
that’s like calling a person of a certain race a racial slur and saying it’s not meant as an insult. People are going to find it insulting regardless of what you intended.
You could say less skilled players or casuals if you really have to, but calling people clowns is subjective, not objective. They can be trying their best- even if they’re not up to your standard that’s not being a “clown.”
chatgpt answer:
“Clown” isn’t always a negative word. It literally means a circus performer, and it can also describe someone who’s funny or playful.
“Clown” is actually the perfect word for my teammates. They play with zero logic, make the most ridiculous decisions imaginable, and somehow never fail to make me laugh.
Before they did some of those things, I genuinely had no idea humans were even capable of them. They completely shattered the limits of my imagination. It’s so funny.
Chat GPT doesn’t understand human emotion, just because the dictionary term doesn’t describe it as “noob” or “butt” or some other derogatory term doesn’t mean people won’t be offended.
Even if it doesn’t make sense to you, most players aren’t doing silly things to entertain you or anyone else, they just don’t know how to play like you.
LUTZ - You keep arguing that “clown” isn’t technically an insult, but that’s missing the point.
Whether you intend it as one or not, you’re using it to describe people as “useless,” “ridiculous,” or “having no idea what they’re doing.” In that context, it’s plainly a derogatory label, and most readers will interpret it that way.
Repeating that it’s “objective” or quoting ChatGPT doesn’t change how the word is being used in your posts. Context matters more than dictionary definitions.
Yes it does not. But lutz should understand that:
Calling people “clowns” doesn’t make your balance arguments stronger. It just shifts the discussion away from the game. If your goal is to persuade people rather than provoke them, dropping the label would make your posts much more effective.
Want an alternate word? Also “noobs” - not the best choice but is way better!
While the last few posts were for sure all OFFTOPIC, I am glad that CaptainJack tried to explain to you lutz. Normally a staff member should have a discussion with lutz.
