Blood/High Elf and Naga as their own playable faction

Hi Warcraft brothers and sisters.

These two factions were and still are my favorite in the whole game with their lore and their structure and units back in WC3.

Can we please, please, please have a proper playable faction for Blood/High Elf and Naga?

During the Kael’thas Campaign and the Blood Elves, you can have your own BE units who are unique and different from the Human Faction.
Or perhaps an Alternative Human Faction ‘‘skin’’ select where all your units are from Humans/Dwarves to now only Elves?

I am so excited to play as the High/Blood Elves once again in WC3 HD, looking forward to this!

Naga I don’t see the problem why they shouldn’t be added as their own playable faction, they’re so awesome and badass.

What you’re asking for is potentially expanded campaign material and/or Warcraft 4 material. They’ve said they’re not doing huge changes (which tbh making those two both fully playable races is pretty monumental, considering current melee difficulties).

Pairing that with the challenges of their current features they’re working on (just look at the outcome of the latest patch) it doesn’t seem a feasible goal for the 1 year hard deadline they were given for launch. Post launch? Maybe. As part of the initial package? Probably not a good chance of it happening.

its for Warcraft 4, they need to do more important things like - female Paladin skin for “human”, dont disturb them :frowning:

I think extra races should be WorldEditor feature, in game constants maybe.

Seeing how Blizzard is gone and only Activision remaining, I rather not have them touch WC3 story at all.

If Blizzard was going to do a Blood Elf/High Elf Faction. High/Blood Elves needs more Units. The Barracks and Arcane Sanctum is good. Through the others need more Units like Siege Weapon Units, Mounted Unit, Heroes and etc.

Hold your horses there OP, they gotta milk us dry with skins before we get any new content…what are you new or something? GAH.

Blood Elf faction makes as much sense as Forsaken faction.

There are 5 Blood Elf units in the Alliance, and that is a significant portion of their army. No need to make a full Blood Elf faction you could just play Alliance and use those units.

Same with Forsaken… We already have a whole race of undead, why split that off to make another?

Legion and Naga would be better ideas, and even then I am not in full support of adding 5-6 races in Warcraft 3 melee. Balance is already difficult with current 4 and they do not have a full development team, this is Classics team.
