Being brainless fan of old lore is stupid

And they did - that’s why you have 2 succesiful games instead of one, that wouldn’t sold itself

They did but despite their tremendous financial success and promise as a company to focus even more on development, Reforged’s development was pulled back in scale, a Starcraft FPS was canned, and the Heroes of the Storm team was drastically shrunk.

You don’t know that.

A lot of people from RTS communiry are purists
A lot of people from WCIII wish WoW to die just because it’s a different ganre and a different story they aren’t used to
Why do you think SC: FPS wouldn’t create the same toxic ocean of “Get out of here, stupid Ares player!” “Ares isn’t canon!” “I hate you Blizzard,You ruined my childhood!” “You left RTS ganre!” ?

Yeah who would ever play an MMO based on Warcraft? Or a card game?

Or why Starcraft: Ghost, for what it had while it had it, was received positively and anticipated for the first couple of years it was in active development?

We never saw a true reaction at this game’s release
I’m sure after a few months an ocean of pure toxic will burn, when those would say “SC is dead!”

Many WC3 players hates WoW,Many WoW players hate Hearthstone

League of Legends is doing pretty alright despite some portions of their playerbase.

Hate doesn’t dictate the quality or success of a product. It’s also usually a personal opinion or will at least actually stem from the quality of the product in a more objective and easily demonstrable way.

But why you,as a game company with unstable reputation and agressive community, need another few toxic oceans and refunds if you can give players what you know they want? Diablo 4? Overwatch 2?

Maybe, just maybe. If that’s such a terrible concern, it’s time to address the playerbase and how it’s moderated. Because it seems more like they’re the issue at that point rather than what game is being developed.

Sorry I thought you were talking about the models for the other minor characters in WC3 but I was just worried Blizzard won’t give them their due
