Restaurants have more ethics than blizzard, this is an unplayable game on day one and they all left the office already which means non of this bs will be fixed today. You think that is acceptable?
I want to play versus, not campaign all day long. We cant even relax with a few custom games. Stop defending a gaming company that cant even deliver the basics.
But it is as you saw in advertising. And if you don’t like it, you can refund it. I know this is true, because they provided a refund link in an email- we’ve all seen it get passed around. Screwing you over implies they’ve promised you something that you NEEDED and withheld it, leaving you high and dry and in a tough place. Just because the toy you bought isn’t how you want it isn’t being “screwed over”. You’re being dramatic.
Its kinda funny… they start this mess… shut down the working one before this gets turned on… then leave for the night AFTER shutting down the refund options
Buying a product or service based on the advertising which must show what the product / service will be to then not receive it as advertised is in fact being screwed over. Now, you may be happy with the product as is, but many people, myself included, are not. We aren’t being entitled, we’re expecting to receive what was paid for.
Not when a refund is available. You could have waited until release to watch someone else play it to see if it’s to your liking. You could have waited for reviews. But it sounds like you weren’t a smart consumer despite all the technology being on your side and you’re pretending they “screwed you over” in delivering the product they advertised. Refund it and move on.
I’ll never get this mentality. Sticking around on a forum for a game you don’t like lol and aren’t playing. Y’all are weird.
If you’re going to compare this to toys.
Then let’s say you are sold a Bouncy ball there is a reasonable expectation that you will receive for your money a ball that functions as a normal ball does.
Now imagine that you get a brittle rock that’s been rounded rather than what you were sold…
Now imagine the clerk hands you this “brittle rock” over the counter and you say “hey this isn’t what I wanted”
And they say “oh. well here’s your money back”
Woa dude. Totally screwed over man. Gotcha over a barrel bud. Yeesh. Ouch.
There’s no indicator that’s happening. In fact, they’ve suggested asking for a refund if you’re not happy with the product.
xhttps://imgur.com/a/iCWI1t9 The only way you can play the victim is if you exaggerate your point.
day 1 bugs on the level as reported are not acceptable when it took 2 years, in addition to extending (missing) the go-live date, to develop a remastered version of a 17 year old game. There are business intelligence dashboard more sophisticated than this game that took 1/32 the time to develop
Its not the bugs. I was promise new cinematic, but it was just the opening Orc vs Human one. Everything else is exactly the same. Where is the ingame cutscene ? Not there anymore. Its just WC3.
Victim? Oh hell no, I’m nobodies victim.
And I saw the damn e-mail they sent out, and i have also seen the exact process that you go through to get a refund.
It’s a damn parody.
Actually If you get the chance check out Monty pythons dead parrot sketch, it kinda sums up this whole thing pretty well.
Uh what?.. Alte let me shed some light on this for ya… This game doesn’t work, period. that’s the problem. You launch campaign, it auto-defeats you-- do a matchmaking, it searches infinitely and never finds a match-- attempt to join a custom game, you get a BS failure to join error or nothing at all-- attempt to join a friend’s hosted game – receive a chat message stating FAIL_TO_LAUNCH_GAME it’s complete BS and your response is so ignorant because you are obviously jumping into this convo without knowing which way is up.
