During the Onlyfangs Invitational Tournament hosted by Grubby and sponsored by Blizzard, at the end he talked about the state of Blizzard and mentioned that they are aware of the FPS problems on AMD CPU’s, I’m assuming Grubby has been asking questions to them and one of them was about that. Hopefully this doesn’t take long to get a patch out, crossing my fingers for next week. Currently the PTR build performs a lot better on my Ryzen 7 5700X3D than on Live build.
Grubby mentioned this at timestamp 07:35:30 on the tournament stream on Twitch. Also a clip about it made if you can scroll there too. Hope this helps people in the know, would be better for Blizzard to tell us about this themselves.
Stats have been broken for years. You play couple games and see that some wins doesnt register. If they havent been able to see this or fix it in the last 3 years, undoubtetly they are not going to get anything good done for this game. So dont except anything except new bugs.
I must just be the luckiest duck in the world then, with perfectly playable performance on two different major AMD CPU models. But hey, if they make things even better I’ll take it.
That aside, I wasn’t aware that Blizzard was supporting or endorsing any tournements in any capacity whatsoever anymore.
Well, more specifically, the “stutter” that has been commonly reported. I’m not really sure overall performance has really changed but I haven’t spent much time with it, as right now I’m getting the “error handling the request” message logging in.
Hello, i have reinstall Reforged to do the campaigns again.
When I am on live game, I have ~50-40 fps with stutter down to 30-25.
I just test the PTR and it is far better, I have 150 fps constant and no big stutter.
I play with graphic option at maximum and Reforged on on both release.
I have tested on the 1st mission of Human campaign (RoC).
It is because they have not implemented the changes to the actual WC3 game yet. It is still in PTR version for testing reasons and might take a while before they release it. At least something is being done about it and the game is not completely dead yet.
I’m not being rude, but I’m sorry if you were offended nonetheless.
If you wanted to provide feedback relating to the update being tested, the correct place to do that would be in the PTR Discussion area, rather than bumping an old thread in Technical support. This is not an attempt to be rude, but rather to be informative. You should share your experiences there.
That is why I asked “what’s the point?” - Because your comment won’t have the impact you want it to have, if you don’t post in the correct area. That was meant as an oppertunity for you to clarify.
