All maps gone. Custom and OG

Go to create a custom game online, no maps. Try single player, no maps. Nothing there, the folder that houses the maps is there, but nothing is showing up. I played a custom map last night with zero problems, today I verified the files, nothing wrong. Reinstalled the game, no maps.

For some reason it is dropping map folders into my C:\ drive, i tried copying them to the user/username/warcraft III/maps folder, nothing changes, I tried redownloading the entire game to a new custom folder to see if that did anything. Nothing works.

Should probably reinstall so the registry entries are recreated and it puts files where it expects to find them again.

Like I said, I tried deleting and reinstalling, I did a second time as well. Still no go. The second time I reinstalled I first moved the install location to see if everything would place properly, since the default did nothing.

You’ll probably need to find the registry entries for the game and point th em to the correct folder.
