I am glade I am not the only one that does not like the remastered look. I feel like it was an elementary school project. The original graphics looked so much better. Hydralisk looks like a flower in the new look. Just horrible. Glade I still have mine on disc and can play it.
You can’t make both old graphics and new graphics. The pixel sizes are different in remastered vs the old version. That’s why the old graphics look more dotty than the old version. When you make a 4k version(remastered) you are making the dots(pixels) smaller which makes the smaller dots appear bigger which is why it does not look the same as before remastered. old original graphics max was 480p while remastered is 2160p which is a big difference in dot (pixel size). 2160p scaled down to 480p is what causes it to look different. In order to have the original old graphics you have to downsize to where 4k (2160p) is downsized to 480p then the remastered players would complain that they want remastered version.
