i press the play button and it starts lauching but immediatly goes back to needing to press play again i want to get the game to work befrore i buy it i had the discs a long time ago but i was playing the free version
for us it’s also saying that it’s running into an unexpected error, not understanding why it’s not letting me play the game. I have already paid for it a long time ago, and I’m using a Windows 11 laptop.
I have the same issue on Windows 11. Just an unexpected error and nothing starts.
Same problem on windows 11 home, but in my case, it gets stuck on the loading screen. When I click, I get the report that the program doesn’t respond. After I force it to close, in the Battlenet-library the game is indicated as running.
Reinstalled the game, didn’t do anything…

Not laptop related, I have same issue and I have a desktop, everything update.
I have the same issue on a macbook Pro M1 running Tahoe. Purchased Remastered about a month ago on sale. Have enjoyed reliving terran missions. Trying to continue the zerg missions but now remastered is no longer available. Remastered is still in my account purchase history. hitting F5 on game menu doesn’t change anything. I am prompted to purchase Remastered again though. Which isn’t happening 
Seems it’s a bug in the game, not the Blizz account.
