The pattern to me is that is still a small team working and adding features in who knows what mess of a very old code. They will get it done.
I think the lied to us indeed⌠and i am pissed, but i understand that Team Match Making is a big en devour, even more than what people realize reallyâŚ
Definitely need that lousy 30-day login DRM removed first, though. This issue is too important to ignore.
The key phrase being âwhile Blizzard exists.â
Blizzard could go out of business at any time in the near or distant future and thatâd kill the StarCraft servers plus the servers for all Blizzardâs other games, and any game they had that required an online connection of any sort either for validation or because it was a service, would be completely unplayable by anyone ever again through no fault of their own or their OS.
That is why always-on DRM is a bad thing.
Well if you want to get technical, Blizzard no longer exists, is Activision Blizzard. And they wont go out of business. This is in fact the only time (Activision) Blizzard is a independent company, not totally owned by someone else.
What could happen is that they are bought by another monster like Microsoft or Disney (LOL), but they wont shut down classic games. The servers are soo cheap compared to modern game standards.
If this happens the âBlizzardâ name will finally get deleted and replaced with âMicrosoftâ. Starcraft, Warcraft, etc built in game in every windows, imagine that haha, beats minesweeper and solitaire for sure.
