SCR seems to crash on launch

I just purchased Starcraft remastered and can’t seem to get it to actually run. Battlenet just says “Playing Now” then it goes back to “Play” with the game never actually starting. I’ve attempted multiple fixes to no avail.

I’m hoping I can get some actual help here, but I’ve noticed that most threads on the topic either go ignored by the support team from the outset or are only given a single response then are ignored afterward. If I can’t get this working I may just have to seek a refund for the game which I don’t think anyone would want. Please just help me to get the game I purchased working.

Posting system information would be the real help here. Otherwise all I can recommend now is making sure you downloaded the right version either 32 or 64 bit and your hard drive memory is not full or near full.

Hi! Try getting used to the search feature. Blizzard has done a really good job with it compared to other popular forums I’ve visited. Here are 2 examples where you can find related info to your issue:

Click the play button once, and if that doesn’t work, click it again. If that doesn’t work click scan and repair, if that doesn’t work, uninstall and reinstall from control panel, installed software.
