It’s no surprise that StarCraft is festooned with references to popular culture in general. At one point in the mission, there are the doodads of countless de4d marines over the installation floor, and one of your troops yells “Oh no, Johnny!” referring to one of the corps3s.
Was “Johnny” a reference to the Argentinian soldier Johnny Rico in the patriotic movie Starship Troopers about killing bugs?? “I’m from Buenos Aires and I say we kill’em all!”
