Parts of Starcraft Menu UI offset

So I decided to load up starcraft after not having played it in a while and when I load it up I see that parts of the Starcraft menu graphical interface seem to be shifted up and to the left.

(just remove the space after the https to see some examples as I seem to be unable to upload an actual picture of my problem here.)

Perhaps this issue has already been solved? If not, I would greatly appreciate some assistance

Hey there,

Definitely looks like a strange problem, my guess would be the root issue is related to the game not matching up with the display resolution well. Lets try this:

  1. Close any open games/apps
  2. Open “Display Settings” in Windows
  3. Change “Resolution” to any different value
  4. Apply the change fully, then change the value back to “recommended” and apply the change again
  5. Reset the game settings to default

Nah, it’s your .bin files that are broken, and they are broken for all installations and all resolutions.

UI on menu is also not displaying correctly for me Since last update.

I tried that as well and unfortunately it didn’t work. However I didn’t have the “reset game settings” option for starcraft 1

Hey all! Thanks for your reports! I checked on our end as well and it’s definitely looking like a lot of the graphics were shifted to the top left after an update.

This does not happen on Starcraft:Remastered, so if the option is available, selecting Options > Video > HD Graphics should workaround the issue in the mean time.

This is happening on the Standard Starcraft 1 version that appears to be a visual bug. We’re getting this forwarded to our team to look into!

I have same problem. Also there is no sound except music.
