Just as the title says, I get it now! aw yeah, do I finally understand why people don’t mod this nonsense! it makes sense!
SCR absolutely killed my first mod, a mod I spent days upon days trying to make, and countless hours simply trying to understand how to use the tools in the first place, all of that progress and momentum NUKED TO OBLIVION! WOOHOO!
Oh YEAH! GOODBYE PROGRESS!
i’m out, boys, peace.

Oh I remember you mighty StratosTygo and feel your pain!
Just stick with 1.16.1 before they will do something about it in future, maybe in 5 years with these temps lol. All greatest mods are made on pre remasterd patch.
Unless you deleted both your original files and your mod .exe file, your progress is perfectly where it was, and if you deleted those, don’t blame SCR for your own mistakes.
Somebody should probably have told you that it happens every now and then and is perfectly normal, samase gets updates for compatiability with new patch in next several hours after release.
It’s possible to use third-party tools to change Starcraft’s game data in a process called “modding” (short for modifying). EUDs accomplish this temporarily for a single map, whereas modding does it globally across any map that is run while the mod is active. Modding is possible in SC:R but is notoriously more limited than in 1.16.1 or older versions of the game.
