Moving SC and SCII folders from My Documents to Program Files

Apologies if this has been already gone over. I recently got a new laptop and downloaded both SC Remastered and SCII. I notice that there are folders in My Documents for both games, Remastered having the Characters, Errors, Maps, Save, and CSettings folders/file in there. I was going to move these to the install folder in C:\ Program Files, but then the game doesn’t know where they are. I can’t seem to find a setting (within the game or in the Battle.net app) to tell it where to look for these files.

Am I missing something, any help?

I believe you must install the games in that specific location for the game to recognize them. If you choose to reinstall them in that place it should detect the files during the installation and then recognize them.

I think it automatically installs there due to
some issues concerning windows 10 and the permissions of older games.
