Can anyone explain how the MMR decay is supposed to work? I read that it was supposed to be 10% a week for S accounts, but I have an account in S rank that hasn’t played a game in over a week and yet it hasn’t decayed at all.
In fact, the last ladder game on it was 8/14, so it hasn’t decayed in almost two weeks.
Yes I read that. I referenced that it was supposed to be 10% a week (as your link suggests). But I’ve had accounts that didn’t decay for over 2 weeks.
How do i get that awesome animated picture?

Ok, i though a bit and read that link again …
It says that the maxium possilbe lose it up to 10 procent…
Which is strange since you are supposed to play 5 games a week(minimum) and would lose 2procent per not played game, which is already 10 procent. So this also could be unstood as you can only lose maxium 10 procent if you are inactive.
An other possible reason could be the fact that their system doesnt work as they claim, either because they just want to put this out there to push the people to play, or their system doesnt work.
An other point is that this decay only works apparently on S…
The question here is, did you just not go down from S or did your MMR didnt decrease one bit?
In that relation we have the daily ladder retribution at 8:00 am PDT …

Only if you are S Rank. If not your MMR stays the same.
