Bug fix / optimizations request

Please do not prioritize any of this over team match making.
Speaking of which, open sourcing that framework, similar to Sinsanity owning SCM Draft could speed things up. The community developed its own solutions for almost a decade before remaster, and has plenty of skilled programmers.

All that aside, here are the QOL improvements that would be nice.

Refresh game list hotkey (CTRL R?)

Exclude game search string, better options. Eg simple regex or search options exclude fastest map, exclude UMS game type, and include all other game forms. This screen and the filter screen in general could use some work.

Allow sorting on existing custom game search columns (eg uptime). At minimum add the game creation timestamp on the right panel about the game.

Game search preferences are getting deleted. This is a minor annoyance, but if more options are added that were constantly being untoggled, this would be a bigger annoyance.
Save these search preferences across any alias. It’s not necessary to have different preferences per character differentiation.
Currently, it doesn’t seem to be saving consistently to the cloud. Writing it to a config file is a low effort fix that should solve this.

Options to remove Alt+XX // Alt+QQ in game

Remove custom games <2 minutes from saving replays and keeping game histories in profiles. Nobody wants this unless its ranked. If it’s less than 2 minutes it doesn’t count as a win or loss anyway.

Fix /who [channel] commands in game lobbies (“Error not connected to the server” -> is there a workaround? This used to work in 1.16.)

Fix minimap issue when a player leaves, his buildings are removed from the minimap in certain cases, depending on who is scouting and viewing the minimap

Mini map scaling on 96/192 map sizes is a cut out.

Lag on setting game options. Sometimes going to change latency takes 5 or more seconds in a laggy game. This is a new problem.

Additional settings or toggles for dynamic turn rate. Give us the feedback we need to make less laggy games. Allow a minimum threshold above 8 TR. 8 TR is not generally smiled upon, though i understand the need to keep it.
Lobby feedback (like a estimated TR number out to the side) on who going to bring the turn rate down to 8/10 without having to hardcode TR to 14 or 16 ++.

Other Protoss players’ unpowered buildings’ don’t show as ‘unpowered’ in remaster, this is a change from 1.16

Language filters are draconian and I have even noticed random words caught in chat rooms filters like “Support” or “Cabbage” – options to turn this completely off would be great.
