Does anyone know that where is the border between U.S. West and U.S. East in the game?
There isn’t really a border. You can use any server you want. Most U.S. custom games are played on U.S. West. The matchmaking system give priority to people who are near each other but you’ll still end up playing people on other servers.
For matchmaking, the games are hosted peer-to-peer so there is no regional servers. For custom games, as the previous person said, you can choose the server (in fact, you have to) that you use. I would recommend using USW because, as the previous person said, it is the most active. I would recommend doing this even if you are in New York.
If you are in South America though, I encourage you to make south american lobbies and include [SA] or [SP] in the title to let everyone know that it is a South American game. Otherwise you will cause immense lag and that will ruin the game for all. There are enough South American players for this method to work.
