Raynor hallucinating from overdosage.

Spoiler: Raynor died to alcholosim in Joe Rey’s Bar.

He went drunk and died wandering in the desert, a pack of lyotes ate his body, the lyotes died of alcohol intoxication, Zergs then tried to assimilate their essence, resulting in drunklings.

Most of zergs in bronze i meet are like drunklings.

And now you have their origin story !

I have the feeling that you do not understand people as a saint who cannot understand the sinner and the people who love sinners, it sounds very inquisitorial

You continually dodge the central point kerrigan is not queen of blades, it is the equivalent of an person who has been kidnapped and subjected to extreme indoctrination or drugged if the relatives understand this as not a free will act but of external manipulation the first thing to familiar try to find a cure but it would rationalize that the person is not the culprit if not the external factor, and they would justify their actions even there will be people fostering affection for irrational reasons.

When you bring back the promise of kerrigan you ever ignore that people utter things in stressful situations and after rationalizing they reach other conclusions or simply the emotion loses strength over time we are not emotional monoliths.
Raynor has all the elements to change his mind because What he deals with is not a situation of free will and full conscience, but with an element of slavery and liberation of morality from an external point.
Your conclusion would generate that there were no family visits in psychiatric or prisons or that the approach of former drug addicts to their families was not possible.
even in the worst case that the person is bad of his own free will, there are abused women and men looking for their aggressor and justifying their actions and even the famous syndrome in stockholm in which a kidnapped person by relating sympathizes with him because when he meets him he does not simplify it as in good or bad he understands it his motivations perceives the graysalthough sometimes they also deceive themselves
There is also mental diversity, not all people react in the same way to the same stimuli, some will lkill you because you see them “wrong”, others will forgive you even if you have taken everything away from them.

The people reaction will vary according to the information in this time that you have your reaction is equivalent to specifying the story is “the crazy women killed everyone” subjugating the entire context of the infestation the personal loss, traumatic childhood, war scenary and the persecution with amnesia

“For I am the Queen of Blades”
-Kerrigan, Heart of the Swarm
She absolutely had free will from BW onwards, even during the Overmind’s tenure her spirit was preserved and on at least one occasion she could even go against a direct order from the Big Eyeball, sparing Raynor and his forces despite being ordered to kill them all. While she was indeed devoid of morality, that does not make her a different person, you don’t give people a pass because they’re sociopaths.

And it’s not like Kerrigan was highly moral in the first place, she was after all an assassin trained to kill, and any moral doubt she could have was deliberately cast aside, she disagreed with Mengsk over using psi-emitters once, then when ordered to protect the Zergs in New Gettysburg she immediately complied despite Raynor’s protests. She herself told Raynor that there was always something dark in her, she’s not some poor innocent girl.

And all of this is further demonstrated in Heart of the Swarm, the first thing she wants to do when deinfested is to kill Mengsk, when she decided to go after him she used the most dangerous bioweapon in the Sector, destroying numerous worlds just to kill one man when this was not required, willingly tossed aside what Raynor fought for to get revenge.

A result of her dark and troubled past ? Yes. Is it tragic for her ? Maybe. Does it warrant a second chance ? No. She already had second chances : no one forced her to be a ghost under Mengsk, no one forced her to commit genocide on Tarsonis, no one forced her to kill Fenix, no one forced her to rejoin the Swarm in Heart.

Heck, if her backstory is enough to keep giving her second chances, why not give other chances to Mengsk, he too had a tragic backstory : he was in perpetual conflict with his father who wanted to control his life, he had his family decapitated and could never find their heads, preventing him from giving them proper burials, his entire planet was nuked to oblivion, that’s not gonna leave one’s head intact.

All of those justifications for a girl he has known for less than 3 months, and not even his first love or someone he has known in his teen years or in a period of weakness. Meanwhile, Tychus, a man he has known for years, who sacrificed his freedom for him, who then gave his life for his sake, whose body was left behind at the claws of the Zerg, what does he get from Raynor ? Nothing. Raynor coldly say that he chose his path willingly, like somehow Tychus was a free man at the time, and not like being imprisoned for months while Raynor was not giving a d@mn about his condition. He is borderline sociopathic when dealing with Tychus, but Kerrigan makes him go emotional ? Despite her choosing to go in New Gettysburg AND rebuffing Raynor ? She arguably deserved her fate on Tarsonis more than Tychus did on Char, because she wasn’t held at gunpoint unlike Tychus and Tychus wasn’t engaged in a Genocide.

1 the statement is seen in a vision.
1.1the statement does not imply a relationship between both characters
1.2 cut material indicates that there is a final question “or am i”
1.3 Kerrigan talk of queen fo blade like other person
2 her personality is different the queen of blades kills for fun, kerrigan kills in fits of anger, strategy and self defense.
3 Moral, she has moral parameters although, she betrays human morality, she still has regrets, and she tries to justify herself by equating everyone with being, and she is victimizing self, not the queen of the blade, who does not need justification because she is amoral.
4 the omission aspect of your faculties in this case the moral as well as the introduction of alien instincts of extermination and all this in a non-voluntary way would leave aside the responsibility because not his mind is not the same if kerrigna were conscious and had accepted it voluntarily, What he is judging here is a person to whom he selects his filters that will not prevent him from doing all the bad things that we imagine. That we can call the aforementioned the will of the swarm a more primitive version of the zerg swarm mind that defines the non-zerg of the zerg and queen of theblade is a zerg defending everything that the zerg represents is not human kerrigan.who feels ashamed to kill an old man and nausea from the apaty of abathur to the pain of others

Raynor was always raised as a main human link and remains in Heart of swarm, so much so that it is not queen of blade who telepahty said raynor “you not surrender” but his subconscious where kerrigan is locked up
This is as simple as Rayno said, everyone made their choice.
While Kerrigan has parameters that do not correspond to a human, he puts aside his revenge for improving the Zerg, his expansion and the goal of perfection, if Kerriga were in command, Arturus’ death would have happened, and Kerrigan would not have spent their time to preserve the zergr as the dominant force and prevent their extinction
kerrigan is respecting the zerg agenda and thinks like zerg

Raynor participated in these operations himself for the same reason that Kerrigan, thinking that was destroyed to build something better, only that Kerrigan believes more than Raynor in Arturus c, and this convinces Kerrigan that it is necessary to immediately regret declares not to do the same again, statement that wins to stop being useful to Arturus
second opportunity ? she has the moral defenses of a child, her memories are reduced to aliens and to being drugged, she has no antecedents, she only has to trust in the moral judgment of her “father”

revenge is in fact an indication that kerrigan is not the queen of spades, Kerrigan is impulsive and seeks thealone objective of destroying Arturus while kerrigan does not even specify revenge becauseshe has more important purposes.
Kerrigna initially agrees to forget revenge when Raynor offers her a choice but this changes when
Revenge is a human reaction that can omits reason, loss makes measuring the consequence ignored so kerriganis not thinking on the basis of her morality that it is the zerg that will happen after her trip that changes that, kerrigan among all the options For revenge, she opted for the tool that could assure her objective, her “allies” from her perspective, thinking of ideals and the put revolution, secondly, the feeling of revenge and despite being the best psychic, she is simply outnumbered by the ghosts of Arturus, including characters like Nova

Arturus’ life is a rose, I’m not even sure he cared about his family’s death outside of the kerrigan murder. It is not what Arturus does on the way to power which could still be a Machiavellian or utilitarian stance that a lesser evil provides well-being, it is what he does when he is in control without redemption, Arturus has already won the war. he simply kill second in command unnecessarily, he decides to be a tyrant, and to pursue any opposition Arturus certainly not blinded by emotions he has planned every moment and has decided to kill Arturus unnecessarily if there was a monster necessary for his time but in reality he became the narcissistic monster from which the apocalypse hangs

This is as simple as Rayno said, everyone made their choice.
Tychus aiming at the head of a woman in a state of vulnerability with which his friend is fixated, Tychus was not in the head Raynor for the last five years with nightmares, Kerrigan had not made a deal with his enemy Arturus. The whole scenario contains in the amount of details and the answer is perhaps not even rational, it is not like they had had time to choose or dialogue from the psychological point of view, Raynor’s answer was obvious, no matter how screwed up the hell of the addicted woman is. you are going to let me shoot you in front of you even some would argue a natural man instinct to defend women

Raynor acts according to the situation regarding, that when he doesn’t believe in the recovery of kerrigan, this is declares with infested Ariel in his bad end is a representation of what would happen if kerrigan didn’t have a cure Raynor is not the guy who guards his zombie wife , and this annexes that in my opinion kerrigan uses Ariel as a cel to psychologically torture Raynor with the dialogue “you kill my childrens”, but as he said “you are dead”, this is repeated at Zeratul’s request -Raynor’s first reaction when he says she must live, is of rejection

yes they tell me that it is a symptom of a disease or product of a drug to be cured with a pill if I have it lying there defenseless, of course, and it can be applied to any loved one
the infestation is a parallel to the zombie infection for the infested common people is synonymous to being dead, the characters see their loved ones become cannibals and they do not shoot because they love the cannibal they do not shoot because even corrupt it contains the last memory of your loved one, last hope if thay overcomes the emotion and they end this with a good explosion head , with a strong emotional impact of a double death if you tell anyone that they can bring a loved one they are not going to ask much about . even losing a hand wouldn’t be much for some

Shouldn’t the opposite is also true? His hatred for her switch to love after learning that it’s possible to deinfested her.

This sentence is so wrong that I don’t even know how to correct it. Gradius? A saint?

Are you sure? Because people are extremely weird. Emotion is the least rational thing I know. People hate and love whomever they please. They are capable of both forgiveness and holding a grudge against the strangest target. Some guy when faces with your example might act the way you think, but some guy will always forgive her and be there for her.

The idea that you find it impossible that somebody could have complicated feelings on a subject would seem to suggest more about you than about the writing, Gradius.

Heck, there is an entire cinematic dedicated specifically to making it explicit that he feels responsible for her getting left behind, and what she did afterwards. He literally outright says as much.

A lot of people wrongly concluded Kerrigan as evil even though Kerrigan has perfectly good reasons for her actions as follows:

  1. As a Terran Ghost, she has been conditioned with a neutral inhibitor to follow the Confederacy’s order and thus have no control over her actions.
  2. Under the SOK, Kerrigan is acting under the instruction from Arcturus wrongly believing that he is acting for the greater good of Humanity. Thus Kerrigan cannot be liable for the crimes Arcturus committed as she was deceived and eventually become a victim herself.
  3. Kerrigan and the old Queen of Blades are not exactly the same as the the Zerg mutagens with Amon’s influence remove her humanity and morality. So again Kerrigan has no control over her actions and that’s why Raynor can see the difference between Kerrigan and the old QOB.
  4. During the events of HOTS, Kerrigan’s goals is actually to seek justice by vanquishing Arcturus for his war crimes. Kerrigan is also happy to have the Dominion citizens liberated from Arcturus’s dictatorship rule. However a lot of her enemies simply doesn’t care about Kerrigan being cleansed of Zerg’s influence just because they bear unreasonable grudges against her. Thus Kerrigan is correct by acting in self defence against unreasonable provocations such as the Protoss on Kaldir.

The irrefutable evidence that Kerrigan is good is as follows:

  1. Even Tassadar who was her enemy commented that Kerrigan is honourable as he noticed her selflessness in defending humanity from the Zerg.
  2. Artanis who was also once her enemy stop being hostile with Kerrigan after they worked together during the Infinite Cycle Mission. This proves that Kerrigan is vastly different from the old QOB and Artanis even proposed to cooperate with her after that.
  3. Ouros the benevolent Xel’Naga would not help Kerrigan to ascend as the new Xel’Naga if she isn’t good.
  4. Upon her ascension as Xel’Naga, Kerrigan saved the universe by vanquishing Amon once and for all and gave freedom to all.

While Kerrigan do express remorse and feel the guilt from time to time, this cannot be taken to mean she is wrong or evil. This is because as a good natured person, Kerrigan is blaming herself for the lost of lives even though it’s not her fault. Good people easily feel guilty even though it’s not their fault and Raynor is another example.

So given all the above reasons, the logical conclusion is that Kerrigan is good.

She had a chance to walk away from it all when she was freed from Confederacy control, instead she chose to continue to work as a killer.
Kerrigan even without her morality is still Kerrigan she shows as much when she lets raynor go but latter shows no hesitation to kill her, when she gets deinfested she shows little in the way of remorse for what she did shifting the blame onto Arcturus while continueing to advocate destruction.

During hots she had no issue slaughtering intier worlds full of innocent terrans to get to arcturus instead of going for him directly. If Tosh and his specters can almost kill Arcturus how could one of the most veteran and powerful ghosts alive not take that option. Instead she starts a new rampage across the sector slaughtering countless people. Like the protoss on kaldir simply because they dared killed a broodmother to protect themselves from zerg attack. She could have left after that, but she didn’t she hunted them down and even when they left the planeted she felt the need for one final revenge.

  1. Tassadar spends a lot of time mocking her for her weakness and outsmarting her emotional response to try and kill him.

  2. Artanis stops being hostile because they have amon to deal with, aka guy who plans to destroy the universe vs mass murdering psychopath.

  3. Ouros isn’t what I call benevolent (he does not care about live at all) he wants the cycle to continue (which is why he fights against amon) yet picks a person which holds no interest in it, his judgement of character is poor to say the least.

  4. If anyone else would have gotten Ouroses power they would have done the same. Its called an interest in survival Amon wanted everyone dead after all. Her killing him does not proof she is a good person.

Yes, but he wasn’t responsible for what the Confederacy did to his son.

And as I recall, it was poisoning from those Confederate cans, along with grief, that lead to her death.

Youre thinking of his parents. Liddy, so far as I recall, died of the flu.

In the comic Home and Vengeance she herself stated that she was in control the entire time when infested, before telling Valerian that she was indeed not human. They are the same character, one just has no moral inhibition but they’re still murderers at heart.

She did not put aside her revenge, she took revenge in BW against Mengsk, in a way more painful for him than death. He sacrificed her for power ? Well now his power is useless, cuz Kerrigan is in the top spot and Mengsk will never catch up with her, it’s pure nightmare for a power-hungry man.

He didn’t, he was preparing to leave the SoK just before Kerrigan went to New Gettysburg. The worst you can charge him with is inaction, which is miles better than what Kerrigan did that day.

She has the mental capacity of a grown adult and wasn’t coerced by force, and that’s all that matter.

Sarah Kerrigan: “Oh, come on, Arcturus. Did you really think I’d allow you to come into power again? You practically fed me to the Zerg on Tarsonis ! You’re directly responsible for the hell I’ve been through! Did you honestly think I’d let you get away with that?”
Mengsk:But you said revenge was secondary to defeating the UED!”
Kerrigan:I lied. […] I think I’ll leave you here, Arcturus, among the ashes of your precious Dominion. I want you to live to see me rise to power. And I want you to always remember in your most private moments that it was you who turned me loose in the first place.”

She cares about revenge in BW. She just took it in a more painful way for Mengsk.

Tosh and his spectres almost killed Mengsk, only failing due to an error from them. They would absolutely succeed with Kerrigan and the Raiders at their side.

Revenge for his family ? If it works for Kerrigan, it works for Mengsk.

In a time where 2 Alien races were threatening the sector. And he was an improvement over the Confederacy, reforming the Ghost Academy, reducing the usage of Neural Resocialization, and rebuilt the Terran civilization from the ruins of BW.

I suppose you meant Kerrigan. Mengsk did not really plan to abandon Kerrigan to the Zerg given the circumstances of the battle. He saw a good opportunity to abandon her, true, but unless he could predict the Zergs swarming her once the Protoss were repealed, he could not plan to abandon her.

Tychus was imprisoned and forced into the deal, he was certainly not free of his choices at the time.

But Tychus didn’t. He had a gunpoint aimed at him the entire time, something Raynor was aware for quite some time.

Point of order. Tosh and the spectres had a non-replaceable resource in the form of the Leo AI who has since vanished into the equivalent of the deep internet. Without him, their ability to get into Mengsk’s palace undetected and unimpeded is severely limited, even with the Raiders help.

They have Orlan to replace him.
