Waiting for another installation or update

Starting my SC2 after a week or so, it asking for update when i say update it hanged at “waiting for another installation or update” not going anywhere, i see in past many people had this problem whats the resolution though? Any help? its stuck

Hey there friends,

Many times when the app gets stuck wiating on another download, then something in the app has gotten stuck. You should be able to see what is updating on the side bar.

If not, then let’s reset the app. This should help out. Perform Steps 1-5 here after that do not reinstall yet but follow these additional steps:

  1. Open file explorer/file manager
  2. Type the following into the address bar (not the search bar): %APPDATA%
  3. Delete the Bnet and blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with %LOCALAPPDATA% and %TEMP%
  5. Empty the recycle bin.
