So today i wanted to play SC2 again and suddenly while trying to launch the game the screen goes black for a few seconds and a message saying that the graphics dispositive is not available in this moment, i tried relaunching the game and restarting my pc but nothing seems to work
please upload your dxdiag and i will look at your hardware. on a more general note: that problem is usually caused on systems with dual gpus(1 integrated and 1 dedicated).
Hey, Alucard! A couple of things to try first.
- Delete the Variables.txt file under Documents\Starcraft II
- Force Windowed mode - In the Blizzard Application, go to Options > Game Settings. Check Additional Command Line Arguments and type in
-Displaymode 0in the text box.
If the problem continues, could you provide a DxDiag file. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:
