Now when Blizzard has fixed their API rankedftw is working properly again.
Currently the number of 1v1 games per day is the highest it has ever been during the last 4 years.
Not bad for a dead game.

Shout out to covid-19 for saving esports. Balance team might even manage to get to Plat league now, as long as they refuse to play as Toss (which we know they will).

LOL, historical records show that after the Black Death -Yersina Pestis that wiped between 40-60% of population in Medieval Europe due to the manpower shortages a lot of bargaining-power was gained for the common-people.
Hardly any sane person would advocate a Plague for solving problems in society…
Considering that sociopaths tend to capture the wealth/power you never know.

I would disagree, because it’s only becuase of covid-19, rankedftw shows 200k players, a year ago it was 250k, 3 years ago 450k…

I would. Plagues and depopulation are great. Too many people, too much competition.
