Now that I’ve had the chance to try those infested-puking Banshees I’ve got a suggestion:
- Make their load infested autocast-toggleable, so that they gobble up any nearby infested automatically when enabled.
They’re really fun, but all the micromanagement involved, as you have to manually pick up infested and load them, diminishes their fun factor greatly. Especially since their cargo display “blends” confusingly with health bars1 and makes loading them even worse.
Honestly, this ability feels like it should have been on Stukov’s hands from the start. It might even feel better on infested Liberators, as a dark shadow of their uninfested counterpart’s defender mode.
1. Please Blizzard give us a setting to use the new unsegmented health bars in campaign, co-op and versus.

Keep seeing this thing about unsegmented health bar, why is this a big deal for people?
Like does it provide information that otherwise would be missed? I’m confused.
The segmented bar has always struck me as unnecesary clutter. Instead of a single border for each bar, we get a truckload of small thick lines colliding with other clumps of lines.
Unsegmented bars provides clearer information, since the segments’ divisions are too thick and don’t even take into account the amount of health the unit has (like, for example, Heroes of the Storm’s segments that I wish they brought here ) and instead it’s just a seemingly random number of same-size segments. Mengsk’s Royal Guard has a better segmentation (segments actually correspond to amounts of health like in HOTS), so maybe that could also be an option
But anyway, that’s not the focus of the thread, just something I’ll tack on everywhere until I get my way *tantrum stomp*

They should redo them to act more like siege tanks…units can’t “load themselves” in.
Instead,
only 1 way in…autocast cd 2.5 sec range 5
2 ways out…
-Banshee regular attack will launch 1 out with the 20 splash damage
Or
-mass evacuation dumps all of them (for 20 impact damage) and puts the auto pickup on a 5-10 sec cooldown.
That way the also won’t use the normal load/unload hotkeys, which causes a problem.
Hmmm, but I kind of like the infested puke. It’s like making an army appear out of nowhere on top of the bad guys.
I guess I can live with any iteration of the ability as long as I don’t have to babysit the Banshees.
It would work just like interceptors, scarabs, spider mines, and such. Only difference would be that they pick those up from the ground instead of creating them.
I have been asking a long time for a similar feature for terran/stukov Bunkers and Earthshatter cannons (mengsk).
Give them an ability to order all nearby military infantry that you own to rush into the bunkers.
Sort of like an emergency GET IN command so that you dont have to click on a ton of bunkers (especially lame as mengsk).
I think it would be cool to have the banshees work like tanks: anything they load turns into a volatile infested.
Yeah, already plenty of micro with banshee, I don’t see why not making loading them a bit easier.
On a side note, they finally fixed the portrait… at least for me.
Actually keeping the unit is better…you can reload the unit after doing the impact damage and fire again.
Do they do damage when they land?
