Report a malicious attack targeting custom maps

I request direct communication with game support staff, as I couldn’t find any relevant options regarding this issue in the ticket system and was redirected to post on forums instead.

I need to report critical intelligence: Someone is exploiting vulnerabilities in the game lobby’s map reporting mechanism. They’re using methods like reporting bots to maliciously mass-report maps, resulting in the removal of numerous maps - including some of the most popular maps in the Asia server lobby (even the #1 top-ranked map). These maps contain no violation content whatsoever.

The simultaneous mass reporting and sudden removal of these maps within a short timeframe is highly abnormal. Notably, all affected maps were created by Chinese authors, leading me to believe these attacks carry strong racist undertones and constitute severe violations of Blizzard’s Terms of Use.

I urgently require customer service intervention to address this situation.

Nah, it’s impacting NA creators too.

The map report system needs to be scrapped. Comeon Blizzard, this is one of your flagship games, don’t let exploiters ruin the customs. SC2 will easily hold up as long as WC3 did, just needs some support. SC2 is still the most serious modern RTS.

Just gonna again suggest paywalling the editor just to prevent future exploits. Give us a bit more upload space and most serious modders would throw $20 in (I’d probably pay $60 for more upload space but I shouldn’t say that).

Someone definitely needs to oversee the map reports, preferably with knowledge of what’s popular in the Arcade. If well established popular maps are being suspended, then the report system is horribly broken. Maybe even a single person could handle reports. But if there was a paywall and someone to oversee reports, we’d have no issues.

Hey 录像收集器,

If possible, have the map authors submit appeal tickets to have their removed maps looked at again. This might give Bliz some insight as to what’s going on, and possibly restore maps that are not violating any rules.

How about cinematics ?

That’s already known and being worked on, so there’s no need to submit tickets for it.

Thanks for the reply

Please prioritize this issue—I suspect malicious attacks are occurring. I’ve noticed additional maps being targeted for removal, with their authors receiving speech restrictions. If you review the forums, you’ll find other creators recently posting about unexplained map deletions. This pattern is not limited to Chinese-authored maps or the Asia server .

I have compiled links to forum posts reporting this issue—all emerged recently, which is highly abnormal. We urge you to initiate an immediate investigation.
