I was trying to play heart of the swarm campaign when i clicked on any building it made the pinging icon happen instead of selecting the building like normal please help me
I’m having the same issue. I was playing earlier and everything was fine. After quitting I came back 20 minutes later and all mouse functionality was not working. After removing the mouse binding to ping, I still can’t even click to move a unit. Press “m” and then clicking still works
After “Restoring Global Defaults” from Options->Hotkeys->Global … things went back to normal but lost all my custom key bindings.
This is usually caused by alt-tabbing back into the game. The game thinks you’re holding down alt constantly (and since alt+click is the hotkey for ping, it pings whatever you click on).
Just hold down alt for a few seconds, and that tends to fix it for me
