If only a current standing would matter. Everyone can be in a Bad form from time to time or have Bad luck in tournaments because You might be facing very strong opponents and be out too soonâŚlike You know the reason why dark is out of gsl already.
Aligulac doesnt matter? Ah ok cool. Good to know. A ranking System that ranks players based on results vs other high ranked Players is useless. You can trash Your esl ranking because of 1 bo5 but You cant mess up Your aligulac ranking because of 1 bo5.

Stop trying to buff Protoss, you have 55% winrate already⌠and even vs zerg you are at 51%. Protoss is CLEARLY overperforming in tournaments and ladder and need severe nerfs.

You just proved why itâs trash. Every match is given the same weight but players donât play that way. Tournament results are what matter and the bigger the tournament the more significant it is.
Youâre trying to ignore the rankings that matter because it shows Protoss is doing fine and zerg is doing badly.
Aligulac is only caring about tournament pairings no? Thats why serral got kicked out of it because he didnt play a tourny for ages at the start of the year. Aligulac weights in the opponent which is it is so good: it shows who is the very best according to match results all across. Thats why serral is on top. Thats why reynor and dark are nearby.
Tournament results are important? Then give protoss some tournament wins ay?
Im trying to ignore tournies because upsets can happen. Lag, daily form, bad matchup, bad pairings, playing at bad times due to online matches (korean time vs european time). All of that can happen and can throw you out of the tourny. Like namshar vs zest

Nope. It gives even weight to games that donât matter so it doesnât indicate anything. Protoss whined all last year but there were 4 P in the top 8 in Korea.
In the season final this year it was all Terran and Protoss⌠and then Serral and Reynor, out of 16 players.

Sometimes players donât win because theyâre not good enough. Foreign Terrans who were NEVER competitive in any patch were not losing because of balance all of a sudden.

Ah yes, they all magically became better lol. Special, Heromarine, Uthermal, Clem and Time coincidentally became better than every foreign Zerg besides Serral and Reynor after Terran got buffed. Just an amazing coincidence.
