I cannot patch the new version 5.0.12, can anyone help?

I’m having the same issue… I Uninstalled the game… Tried to Re Install…
The Game Tab says “play” but nothing happens when i click it…
When i try to update… it says “game is running…” But what’s even odder… I don’t have a Starcraft 2 Icon…
I’ve Enabled security, and allowed it to access my game… i just don’t know what i’m doing wrong…
Game was buggy to begin with… I uninstalled cuz it kept saying “Version Missmatch”
So i figured i’d Uninstall… Delete the Battle Net Folder… and i did that… but even now… i can’t get the game to even install… so i dunno what’s wrong with the game…
All other games work, but starcraft 2 just won’t seem to install…

if the game is listed as running, then it likely is. a game can some times get stuck in a situation where the executable is active but nothing happens. in that kind of situations, you need to use task manager to shut it down. you get to task manager with control + alt + delete.
