Replaying the whole StarCraft series again, I was struck by the resemblance between the huge wrecked ship from which Jim Raynor retrieves the final artifact piece in “Maw of the Void” and the Spear of Adun. Was that wreck one of the lost Protoss arkships? And if not, why did it look so much like a Protoss arkship?
The vessel in Maw of the Void was a derelict Xel’Naga worldship, not made by the Protoss. Though it is possible they took some inspiration from them when constructing the ark ships.

Those ‘lost’ Arkship is on the surface of Aiur. It was destroyed, though; not lost.
