How to datamine for upcoming co-op mutations

Blizzard adds the co-op mutation info into the Map Editor Data usually weeks before the mutation goes live. Here is how to access this info:

  1. Create New [click the green paper on the leftmost part, or press Ctrl+N]
  2. Select the Extension Mod radio button, then press Next.
  3. Select the Custom radio button, then click Modify.
  4. Click Add Other.
  5. Double-click alliedcommanders.sc2mod, then click OK. Then click OK again. Then click OK again. Then wait for the new file to load.
  6. Click the blue marine on the top bar to go to Data, or press F7.
  7. Go to the user types folder, then find and click “Mutator Challenges” in the list below.
  8. The list of new mutations will then appear.
  9. I like using the Detail view [Ctrl 2] to see the mutation missions lined up in a neat table. Enjoy!

One thing I’ve noticed in the data are hints of a new Co-op mission based on the Sky Shield level in Legacy of the Void.

Hi CtG. Thanks for the guide! I’m stuck on step #7. Where is the “user types” folder? I clicked the blue marine and then tried searching for “Mutator” in the search bar. But there is no Mutator Challenges in the list. I think I may be doing something wrong. Here is a snapshot of where I’m stuck.
