I am getting 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 trying to running the game…

Hey Jack,

An error code of all 0s is typically caused by OneDrive.

Starcraft 2 will crash on launch if you have OneDrive syncing your Documents folder. To fix this problem please disable the Documents folder sync in OneDrive Settings. This information should help:

  • Note you must unsync Documents before uninstalling OneDrive. Uninstalling the program by itself will not work.

Can I get more specific guide? I Failed to unsync Documents folder from onedrive.

What do you mean by you failed to unsync the Documents folder? Do you mean OneDrive wouldn’t let you?

Yes, it doesn’t let me.

I simply don’t find the option to unsync document folder.

Try going into the Documents folder and unsyncing the Starcraft II folder.

And how can I do it? I don’t have that option, and I can’t find Documents via one drive.

EDIT: I am not sure it’s something to do with one-drive, I am still getting this error even AFTER I reset one drive.

Try creating a new administrator account in Windows, then log in with the new account, make sure that OneDrive is not syncing that new user’s Documents and try launching the game.

If a new user account works then it could be a permissions issue with your main user account in Windows.
