Game Installing Issue After Chinese Server Relaunch

I’m reaching out to the community and developers regarding a persistent issue with installing and running StarCraft II on macOS, specifically since the game’s relaunch in China. My setup includes a Mac with an M1 Pro chip and macOS 26.0.1. Before the Chinese server relaunch, I was able to play via Rosetta 2 on global servers. However, after switching to my Chinese account and attempting to install the Chinese version, I discovered the download does not include the necessary Mac executable files (StarCraft.app and Versions folder). The Chinese server version (5.0.15.95435) is newer than the global version (5.0.15.95299). When I tried copying the executable from another installation, the game returned a error.

What’s more, after switching back to my non-Chinese global account, the Battle.net installer continues to default to the Chinese client, offering Simplified Chinese as the only language option and still lacking the Mac executable files.

I’ve already performed a full reinstall, including deleting all Battle.net related data, but the issue remains. According to the response I received from support, this appears to be a client packaging problem and there is no any local fix can be applied. I’m posting here in hopes that a fix can be implemented so CN Mac players can enjoy StarCraft II in all regions again.
