Game DC with Surrender option at random times

Been running into an issue where the game freezes for a few seconds and screen pops up with the option to surrender like my internet is slow or down, but time and time again i have checked and my connection is fine. i waited the 50 sec allocation to see if the game resumes but it stays frozen indefinitely until i press the surrender botton only to return to main menu. anything i can do to fix this?

Hey there,

Lets go ahead and grab a winMTR so we can further investigate the problem. Here are the instructions:

  1. Download the tool from this page
  2. Enter the game IP into the “host” field. The IP address for our games are listed on the winMTR instructions page
  3. Start the test and play the affected game for at least 15 minutes. Ensure the problem happens while the winMTR tool is running.
  4. After recording the problem data, click “export text” and save the winMTR file in an easy to find location.
  5. Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the winMTR. It’ll look like this:

If you have issues pasting here, please use Pastebin and post the link (ex: Pastebin (dot) com/123456).

I am having this problem constantly as well. I play about 15-20 minutes into a co-op game and I am suddenly disconnected even though my internet connection is fine. I am playing from around the same area you are playing it seems from your log.

Achilles,

This file is completely fine, oddly enough. May just be a bad browser cache or driver. Can you try power cycling your connection, updating your network drivers, and retesting?

If you’re still having trouble after this troubleshooting, please generate a text copy of your DxDiag using these instructions. Once you have that made, open the file. Copy the code below, then copy/paste everything from that DXDiag file between the rows of tilde (~) marks where it says “DXDiag goes here.”

DXDiag goes here
~~~~
If the file’s too large to submit, you can upload it to a file hosting site like pastebin and post the link in the code above instead.
I updated the drivers and have not had an issue since, but will make sure to follow the DXD instructions if I do. thank you for helping resolve this!
