That always happens when you crash while joining a co-op match (which is what happened here as you said). You just have to wait a few minutes and then it will let you enter again.

How long is a few minutes kinda weird that you get punished fir crashing.
The main ““fix”” I see for this is going into campaign, loading up a map, then quitting out. That usually work for me, albeit I don’t crash. I only ever get this status when the servers glitch out.
