Forgives Kerrigan but not Mengsk?

Guys, I am really sorry but I gotta bow out of the Kerri debate. Not that you’re not making interesting points or that your points are not valid, but the quantity and length of writing and replying ot the posts is starting to make my sanity go away. xD

Thank you guys for the discussion, I offer you a virtual handshake and let’s talk again sometime.

Well we’ve kind of gotten to the point where we mostly agree to disagree.

Doesn’t stop us from having interesting off-topic discussions. That’s how we roll on the story forum.

Feel free to stay/come back anytime.

Your Ashkenazi background explains a lot then.

Regarding communism and n@zism, one of the most succesful communist lies was they are too different.

International socialism versus national socialism.

Fu^k both ideologies with a rusty typhus-infested pitchfork.

I have to disagree with you on the 50 battle cruiser number.
The UED fleet which is built mainly from dominion assets had 200+ battlecruisers above char. Unless they all vanished into thin air the dominion fleet will be far more then 50 ships.

Keep in mind that the Dominion fleet prior to BW was the successor of the Confederacy’s fleet, which had decades to be developed unlike the WoL fleet.
Considering the annihilation of the UED forces at the end of BW and the fact that Mengsk had to borrow a fleet before Omega (which was also crushed), it wouldn’t be surprising for the Dominion fleet in WoL to be less numerous than in BW.

The dominon had four years to rebuilt its fleet and I’m pretty sure they outclassed both the Umojan Protectorat and the Kel-Morian Combine by the end of it. And those two didn’t have their fleet ruined in the brood war as far as I know.

Umoja and The KMC joined the Dominion when it was created, seceding after BW. Their fleet probably suffered during the conflict.

They already distanced themselves to the Dominion before the brood war due to its actions at at least according to the wiki and since the source link doesn’t work anymore I can’t rely check that.

Also the Gorgons went into production at 2503 and warfield could deploy 7 of them on char alone.

If we go with the “1 battlecruiser per month” production speed, then there would be a dozen Gorgons at the very least ready for WoL/HotS.

Then again, this is very prone to retcon, but that’s the Flashpoint numbers for ya, you’d have to thank Golden for them

1 Battlecruiser per month for the intier dominion?

50 battlecruisers in 4 years, aka 48 months. It’s basically 1 Battlecruiser a month. Then again, we’re relying on Golden for those numbers…

1 per month means that they only have one place building them and does not include introducing the Minotaur came into service in 2502 so something doesn’t add up.

Golden just pulled a random number out of thin air that makes no sense. Case solved.

We should make Golden deppreciation thread.

Good game, well played

Thank you, and thank all of you, actually; this is the most stimulating online discussion I’ve ever had, so I am very glad it happened.

This place is where I have learned existence of several argumentation fallacies, the word verisimilitude, and found out that using link as evidence is trolling.

Last one is quite recent and frankly hillarious.

everyone is forgetting that Nova campaing has dialogues that he will build cruises until the fleet arrives in his penultimate mission, since WoL has emphasized the capacity of the Terran automated factories that are capable of manufacturing anything if it has the raw materials and manufacturing drawings

  • Reigel: We’ll be able to construct [battlecruisers] on our next mission, Nova. I’ve developed upgrades for them, if you’re interested.
    The Mission[

  • Horner: Enemy forces are moving down the central streets in these locations. Additionally, I’ve summoned the [Dominion Fleet] to help us, but it’ll be some time before they arrive. Once they’re here, our battlecruisers will have no problem blasting through the Tal’darim. Until then, you’ve been cleared to build your own.

  • Reigel: We already have the plans. First, we must construct a [fusion core], then the ships themselves will require a vast number of resources.

The part I don’t understand is why a link is by its nature trolling. Was gonna write out a whole tl;dr but that may be overkill. If you have like a Bureau of Justice online statistic, and you’re being asked by online buddies to get them, for example, what is the ratio of men to women incarcerated in federal prisons, how can you deliver the results without a citation?

The last one was a joke. Seriously that’s not my line of thought.
But that of one wondeful chap known as Sayian.

Fun person.

To get some understanding.
