Think of it as your second home where every time you walk in you meet your buddies face-to-face as in real life and spend the best time of your day/night with them.
The end goal here is to turn you into something better than you were before joining the crew.
Core behaviours: what we actually DO
- Treat others as we would treat them in real life. Behind every nickname there is a person.
- Are honest with feedback – we say what needs to be said and do it in a civilised manner
- Give and take contsructive criticism and do it like champs
- Support our fellow teammates in every regard possible – this doesn’t have to be always limited to the game
- Set clear goals and deadlines where we want to reach in Starcraft 2 – be it the masters league or maxing out your commanders in a year.
- Learn from our mistakes and always look at ourselves first before criticizing others
- Follow through with our promises and show up. Should it prove too difficult at times we will give a heads up why we can’t join on any given day
- Keep going even if the season results are poor
- Squeeze out every last ounce of potential this awesome game has to offer
- Put the team as a whole first, members second and egos aside
- Let people of the same nationality/language communicate in their own language if they need to
- But keeping in mind that english will be the common langauge to all of us in order to convey our thoughts and tactics
- Give others the kind of treatment we wish to get back in return
We DON’T
- Censor people, their wording or opinions
- Cave in under mental pressure and start blaming teammates when things go wrong and crew takes the heat
- Discard anyone based on their level, age, gender or any other parameter
- Don’t gossip and make fun of our team members in front of – or behind their backs
- Tolerate picking on others and any kind of abuse
- Give up after a handful of half-hearted tries
- Get triggered by poor efforts of the opponents trying to inflict mental warfare on us and descend on their level of pathethicness
- Prohibit people to communicate in their own native language should they feel the need to
In case you are worried that:
- You are too new to the game and don’t know a squat
- You’re inexperienced compared to others and fear that you are dragging them down
- Are in a too high or low league
- Are into arcade, co-op or something else instead of hardcore laddering
- Don’t speak perfect english
- Are too old or young to join
- It is a „gentlemen’s club“ and we have a no girls-allowed-policy
- End up with foul-mouthed ill-mannered screaming ego-maniacs and bullies
- No one is going to actually help you improve
- You are in a completely different time zone
- It will be worth your time
- That the world is going to end tomorrow
Then sure enough you will get
- Enough time and support from us to familiarize yourself with the core concepts of the game – should you feel the need all you have to to is ask We’re here to help.
- Enrolled into a virtual bootcamp to mercilessly pound you into basic shape – in a most non-homoerotical way possible - to tackle any kind of tactics and people on the ladder.
- As far as leagues go you can only go up. No one can be too good (well exept Serral maybe…). League-wise this is a no holds barred. Members from unranked to grandmaster are invited to join.
- Multiplayer is the heart and soul but there will always be room for arcade, co-op and everything else – you name it! Treat this clan like a place of support where you can always get someone to play whatever you happen to fancy in terms of SC2.
- The ease of mind that the one writing the post doesn’t speak perfect english either but he’s a stubborn donkey and keeps on going nevertheless
- The knowing that this dude here is 27 years old and doesn’t plan to be done with Starcraft any time soon. No upper or lower age limit if you want to join.
- Invitation to join regardless of your gender
- Hopefully they best kind of company that you can find
- All the support and coaching in our collective power and some hard one-on-one mentoring
- A flexible schedule to play when you can
- What you put in
- Well shiz! – can’t help you with that!
- And why not some extra knowledge from people with different backgrounds coming together– you’ll see once you join.
How to join
Simply reply to this post and someone – most likely me – will get back at you as soon as possible
Give a short summary about yourself – or an essay if you really enjoy writing. And if you feel like letting your playstyle do the talk hit me up and let’s crush some nerd skulls (hopefully) on-line together
Seems like a real deal? Sparked your interest? – Then act while the dopamine rush is still on and hit the submission. Plenty of time to always regret later.
