Context:

Duke Challenged me to a match to prove that I was a Terran player. At his request, we played a best of 3. With his permission, I’m posting the games here. Quoted for context below.

Truthfully, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but the games were solid games between us; props to Duke for both reaching out, actually playing the games out, and then also allowing the games to be posted - that’s not something that most people are willing to do!

We had a long conversation afterwards; though he’s a bit meme-y on the forums, guy’s generally pretty chill for the most part. Kudos! I can definitely believe that he’s former Masters, even if he’s not ranked now. His macro was pretty solid all things considered. Will probably do some games again with him in the future; I can picture you being decent practice partner Duke! :slight_smile:

Next time TvZ you hidden zerg agent.

EDIT: I wanted to be nice but after thinking for a while unfortunately I need to cancel my thumb up and my positiveness. I remove the thumb up because I could win this. We played on US time when I was already tired. Thats the issue number 1. Issue number 2 is you supposed to be zerg but we played TvT which I didnt prepare for. I prepared to BBQ a zerg NOOB. Thats another issue. And then there is third issue but I don’t want to talk about that on forums. So we found 3 issues in total. 1 is okay - it happens you know? 2+ is not acceptable.

I think rematch is necessary.

The replay site is asking if I’m a human…. so can’t see anything about the games. All I know is that ghosts are currently as overpowered as ultras.

since when did that page ask for a sign up when trying to watch replays. last time i was on there i never had to sign up and that was last week

edit: i usually come through the sc2pulse links, so maybe thats it… who knows, ill look it up later and check it out.

sounds like the matchs will be good to watch.

Ah, it’s probably cause I linked it through sc2replay stats which might need you to have an account to view the replays (though you don’t need to pay for anything for it; site’s pretty good tbh).

i know it is, ive been on it before in fact just last week. I usually come through sc2pulse link though when checking out other players replays.

There’s only 1 duke but Reaver and Miro are the same person, so you might’ve got confused that way.

Yeah, I remember him too. He was in my discord for a while but stopped getting on altogether. Kinda sad he vanished, he was a good guy, fun to play with.

I know you are terran player, but at some point i thought you either switched race or were completely sold-out to zerg community. You literally licked zerg’s a**ss.

Nope. Still terran.

I just try to keep my mind open and watch a lot of games in general, not just Terran games. Zerg is also my off-race too, so there’s some (admittedly limited) experience there, but it’s mostly what I’ve observed rather than anything else. It’s why I rarely comment on things like Zerg timings outside of TvZ, because I don’t know them all that well - but I can look up stats for win-rates etc, have a reasonable memory for the patch histories and am fairly familiar with unit stats too.
