The only way that can ever happen is a total redesign of Protoss which will never happen. The issue is: Protoss is entirely balanced around gimmicks. That’s why they have a high success on ladder, large population makes it difficult to discern what gimmick an opponent is strong with so Protoss is more likely to win. However, in tournies, you know EXACTLY who your opponent is every time, so you can prep for their strengths and hard counter them; which is why Protoss can’t win tournaments
