Hello,
I’m writing this after being fed up tagging several times with players I’ve blocked for many reasons (mostly because of them being verbally agressive after they’ve been rekt, others actively being jerks like killing probes or expand on my expand after I’ve cleaned my expand, others juste making 3 zealots and thats it.. I’m player mostly brutal and others times brutal+) So I juste wanna suggest the idea of declining matchmaking with players who’s on my blocked list, or make a new block list for that.
I’m already a bit fed up to have to carry 80% of my games, adding those jerks and leaving the toxicity in game isn’t going to be good for our beloved SC2.
A way of just not having to play with players we expressively blocked is all I ask anyway,so thanks for reading.
In general I agree with that, but there is one problem which you can spot by just being in any SC2 in-game chat room: there is A LOT of toxic (I genuinely think that this word is overused, but in this case it actually fits), stupid and malicious people attracted to this game (to any multiplayer game really).
If everyone starts banning everyone the matching system will have to check so many variables and will have available pool so drastically limited that it might cause long queue time or playing with the same person over and over again.
Players will complain about both A LOT.
I feel you dude. I personally just keep a txt file with name, profile link and ID, short desq of who they played, what map and what exactly was the issue - then I simply DC in the loading screen if I spot them.
Maguro replay analyzer (I think it was Maguro’s, I might remember wrong) is a really good tool if you didn’t delete replays - they are all stored.
