Yeah, this worked for me. An easier way to fix this is to go to search bar in Windows, type Virus and select Virus & threat protection. Then look at Protection History on the left, you’ll see some items like Protected folder access blocked, click on it and if it says the App blocked was SC2_x64.exe, then click Actions and select Allow. Then my profile worked again.

TLDR hit Shift+command+G in Finder to open the “go to folder” dialogue, type in ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/ and then right-click on the StarCraft II folder, click Get Info, and change the Sharing & Permissions privileges to “Read & Write” (I did it for every user just in case). Worked for me immediately. Didn’t even need to restart StarCraft II.
